Dear friends,
I have been home to Switzerland and a lot of healing has taken place; emotional healing, physical good feeling of being on a carefree holiday and social gatherings with old friends: bliss!
Remember, I told you about learning Tamara Healing in my last letter to you? Well, in Geneva I got asked to teach other people to be Tamara Healers, so there is something quite powerful about it as this healing tool wants to spread fast! I may be able to bring the Founder of this practice to Switzerland next year and I would be very happy to give some gratitude back to Tamara by introducing her and her work to the country I love most: my own!
It’s amazing what being on home soil helps to achieve. So many things we do forget when we are away from home for a long time. I certainly had a grounding by just being there, wandering up and down in the mountains and reconnecting with friends and participating in some of the cultural events there. I have made new decisions like start writing my first book next year and taking my work around the globe and not only around Australia. My last two children leaving home will help to provide the extra space for such challenging projects. There is always a way of giving life, isn’t there! People keep asking me about my writing and you may have guessed: I love it and I have always had the idea that I would be writing my book, no wonder I have had its title in mind for the last few years.
There is another topic I want to share with you: I am regularly asked to help people with suicide wishes. Some are disappointed with life itself, some are misunderstood by their loved ones; some just “can’t take it anymore” and some need to prove something, to themselves or others. So, we do save lives, but what do we really do? The question is difficult to answer, as keeping a life alive is such a big issue and a controversy at the same time. I think I just want to ask us all to be of assistance to people with life threatening thoughts and actions and to do the best we can, whatever it is. I know these people really need us and are often so grateful for what we have said or done, even if we weren’t sure we did the appropriate thing at the time.
Instead of a story I share the following wise words with you. They were written by a grand little lady we all love and the title is:
LIFE IS

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.
On the following Photo I show you some of the amazing alpine flowers that seem to grow out of the stones:
