Dear Friends

I don’t know what you think about time. Maybe you have similar thoughts to mine: sometimes we have too much time and every so often not enough of it. It seems to depend a lot on our thoughts and even on our feelings. Fascinating stuff!

So really, our mind is a very amazing tool. You have noticed that we can use it for or against us. It may not be as independent as we tend to imagine at times. I have heard the expression “the mind is playing tricks”. This is most certainly true for people with mental problems, when the mind seems to organise itself in a different way to how it worked before an illness was discussed. This is nonetheless not the case for all of us. As healthy persons we can put the mind to work when and where we like. It does love to work and it regularly works overtime. We have all noticed this. “I can’t stop thinking” is a common phrase we use.

How regular is the conscious use of your mind? My guess is that I am not the only one who is puzzled by the question. We all have a lot of work or let’s say teamwork with the mind to become focussed on. We can “will” things and sometimes we can “will” people. From listening to you I know how good you are at it. I am not debating the issue of how to and when to use the brain actively here. I insist however on the regular and ethical use of the mind for the purpose of good intentions. Create good things for ourselves, for others, but also for the Earth, for our work with Spirit in the sense of broadening connection and communication throughout the worlds. That is a project worth working towards.

By writing the last paragraph I have just discovered a few exercises for my new workshop on how to develop your own clairvoyance. I so look forward to sharing all of it along with your own input. We will create together. You know my love for teamwork. I look forward to it.

My mind at this very moment is set on creating work in Europe. I am pondering the relationship between hope – expectations – realities – power of my mind – cultures – my time. It sounds complex and it is; yet I trust I can work with all these factors in mind. My multicultural background is a valuable asset and so is my skill of languages. You may have similar skills or different ones. All of us have more skills than we are aware of. Let’s use them, put them to the test of our goals, regardless of how good or bad they are. They are tools, and that is precisely what we need for work.

We have all heard about people with amazing skill and willpower. Think of our friends who “just” give up smoking for example. They do inspire us to attain other achievements relevant to our needs, wishes and desires.

Let us try and work with the mind and not let it overtake us. We love to be with it rather than out of it or even without it!

It is amazing what we can see in these pictures: the more we look, the more we see. Isn’t it the same in life in general?

Here is our Mind Story:

The Power of Thoughts (by Remez Sasson)

One day, a yogi and his disciple arrived to the big city. They had no money with them, but they needed food and a place to stay. The disciple was sure that they were going to beg for their food, and sleep in the park at night.

"There is a big park not far from here. We can sleep there at night", said the disciple.

"In the open air?" Asked the yogi.

"Yes", responded the student.

The yogi smiled and said: "No, tonight we are going to sleep in a hotel and eat there too".

The student was amazed. "How?"

"Come and sit down", said the yogi.

They both sat down on the ground and the yogi said:

"When you focus your mind intently on any subject, it comes to pass."

The yogi closed his eyes and started to meditate with full concentration. After about ten minutes he got up and started to walk, with his disciple following him. They walked through several streets and alleys, until they arrived to a hotel.

"Come, let's enter inside", the yogi said to his disciple.

They just set foot in the entrance, when a well-dressed man approached them.

"I am the manager of this hotel. You look like travelling swamis and I believe you have no money. Would you like to work in the kitchen, and in return I'll give you food and a place to stay?"

"Fine", responded the yogi.

The disciple was perplexed and asked the yogi: "Did you use any magic? How did you do that?"

The yogi smiled and said, "I wanted to show you how the power of thoughts works. When you think with full and strong concentration about something that you want to happen, and your mind does not resist the subject of your thought, your thought materializes."

"The secret is concentrating, visualizing, seeing details, having faith and projecting mental and emotional energy into the mental scene. These are the general prerequisites. When your mind is empty from thoughts, and only one single thought is allowed to enter, it gains a very great power. One should be very careful with what he thinks. A concentrated thought is powerful, and exerts a very strong influence."

The disciple looked at his teacher and said: "I see that I have to sharpen my concentration in order to be able to use this power."

"Yes, this is the first step", responded the yogi.
